“I’m a story-first YouTube editor for travel and documentary creators. I help you turn good footage into publish-ready videos with cleaner pacing, stronger emotion, and a style that still feels like you.”

Video Editing

I edit travel and documentary-style YouTube videos for creators who care about story, mood, and clarity, not just fast cuts. You can review full scene examples (with timestamps,), and I deliver a first pass in 3 business days.

Best fit: travel/doc, talking-head + VO + B-roll, story-first pacing
Not a fit: heavy motion graphics, meme edits, daily shorts factories

Availability: 1–2 new clients
Fastest start: Sample Scene Cut → monthly slot if it’s a fit

“Ian was able to learn and adapt quickly to my style of editing, so the whole experience was seamless. I was skeptical to outsource the editing process because it’s so personal to me, but I’m very impressed with Ian’s capabilities!”

Personal Work

Portfolios

  • Architecture & Interiors

I studied Architectural Design at Thomas Jefferson University. I never lost my passion for well-designed spaces and I love to photograph them whenever I get the chance. Here’s a collection of photographs of hotels, restaurants, and private homes.

  • Travel films

I started making these videos to share a little bit about what it’s like to be on the road and some of the lessons that I’ve learned in my travels. I prefer ‘slow travel’ where you stay in one place for an extended period and really get to know it. These films are a little glimpse into that lifestyle.

    Travel photography

Over the years I’ve lived on 4 continents. From the furthest tip of South America to Vietnam, I’ve taken my camera with me and saw some incredible things. I just want to share the beauty that I’ve seen along the way and maybe spark some inspiration in you to get out there and see it for yourself.
